Bowls' Big Weekend 2025
We were tasked by Bowls England to raise awareness of their annual campaign, Bowls' Big Weekend. We focused on trying to bring to life the wider, holistic benefits and opportunities that the sport offers, while aligning with the upcoming Commonwealth Games.
Bowls England wanted to reach wider consumer audiences, mixing impactful national coverage with regional broadcast and written.
The New Reach team got to work, reaching out to the biggest media across the country, landing the most amazing 5 minute feature with BBC Breakfast. We also targeted a younger audience, securing pieces with The Week Jr and First News, landed Bowls England's CEO Jon Cockroft on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio 4, while tailored bespoke copy in regional papers, coupled with local TV and radio rounded off a great campaign.
