Unsurprisingly we've got the Euros and Wimbledon front and centre, with Sam sticking to his passion for American sports, and Ellis ditches his Spurs pride to pick young Myles.

We also want to take a moment to send our thoughts and prayers to the family and loved ones of Diogo Jota and his brother after the devastating accident this week. May they rest in peace.

Curtis Campher

Irish cricketer

A place in the history books was set for Irish international cricketer Curtis Campher this week, as he became the first male player to take five wickets from five balls in a professional match. The 26-year-old Munster Reds all-rounder leading a collapse for the North-West Warriors from 87-5 to 88 all out.

Olivia Smith

Most expensive female footballer ever

Smith looks set become the first £1m player in women's football, with the forward expected to move from Liverpool to UWCL winners Arsenal. The Canadian joined the Reds for £200,000 in 2024, and the club look set to earn a huge return to reinvest into their squad.

James O’Connor

Australia and Leicester fly-half

After almost three years out of the Australia men’s national team setup, James O’Connor probably thought his chances of facing the British & Irish Lions were gone. But following his move to Leicester Tigers and an unfortunate injury elsewhere, he’s back in the squad, with a shot at joining the elite group of players to face the Lions in back-to-back series.

Amanda Anisimova

Wimbledon finalist

A year ago, she failed to qualify for the main draw, now she’s a Wimbledon finalist. What an incredible year for the American who overcame world number one Ayna Sabalenka to tee up her first Grand Slam final against Iga Swiatek.
